The empanadas are very, very good. They come with two sauces that we were told are homemade and those two sauces with the empanada were just incredible. Also they are very cheap and you will leave happy and full. I never had empanadas that good and I will definitely be back the next time I visit the island.The dish of the day was a full plate of whatever was served that day and always delicious when we ordered it.The staff was very, very friendly as well. Some of the nicest people we met here!This was the best food I had in madeira. 10 / 10 experience

We were here on the way to Funchal and ordered empanadas with chicken. Oh my God it was great! It was made so fast and the homemade sauce was great. With 2 cappuccinos we were under 10. Incredible!

Nothing fancy, but super delicious and home-made! This place is perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Try empanadas - they are delicious (beef black beens banana or the ones with minced meat) highly recommended. …

Wow, wow, wow. If you go here and manage to complain, you have issues.The food is super-cheap but absolutely delicious. I had an amazing local tuna dish with a coffee for 5. Stunning homemade, authentic local food and great service by Rita who speaks fluent English should you not speak Portugese.One of those places you stumble upon but go back to again and again. Already planning my next visit

We went early morning so had just empanadas ready to eat but boy were they good.The banana filling with shredded beef and beans was one of the best things I ate in madeira . I loved it so much that I was looking for the recipe online but didn’t come across anything similar.

When you want a real good Capuchino for a real low price order a Chinesa ( local capuchino) 85 euro cent. For a lunch you order a Empanada ( breadroll with meat inside)give a thumb up if you liked this review.
